January Report
A small group of keen members meet on Sunday evenings at St Mary’s Parish Centre from 7-9pm to play games, chat and explore different ways of expressing faith. The young people who make up Revelation have been meeting for a couple of years now. Recently we looked at being ‘Sorted’ - how right are we with God? How would we put across the message from 1 John 1: 5-10 so that it would be heard by today’s young people? “God is light!”
The group had ideas for innovative adverts and text messages to capture the imagination, so that more people would come to faith and live together in peace and harmony.
As well as our own small but cosy meetings – a ‘safe’ environment to share issues of faith, the group takes part in Deanery Events which encourage mixing with other young people from church youth groups throughout the Deanery.
