Our Mission Statement:

"A community rooted in worship and prayer,

striving to grow in faith and love;

serving our community,

our purpose is to bring others to him."

Explaining the process:

In September 2000 St Mary’s embarked on a series of workshops to determine 'The Way Ahead' for the next five years. Three workshops were held and written information developed at each stage. People who were not at the workshops were encouraged to comment. There was also reference to the process and content in church services. Goals emerged and a new mission statement for our church was agreed.

Working Groups, that you are welcome to join:

In order to take the practical steps towards reaching the objectives set out in our Mission Statement, four working groups have been established. They meet every other month, and consist of volunteers from the congregation. The titles and remit of each working group reflects the objectives of St Mary’s.

New members are always welcome to any of the following Groups which are now active within the community. Please contact the Parish Office Team for further information. email: Parish Office ..tel: 01943 864405, or call at 43 Station Road.
